Hi,I am buying a new PC. I am trying to decide between Windows 7 Professional 32 bit or 64 bit.I like the idea of 64 bit because it can address more memory. When I look for notebook PC's at Dell and HP, it seems like they include 64 bit with the more powerful processors and 32 bit with the less powerful processors. It has always been my nature tospend a little more on a new PC so that it remains useful for a longer period of time. However, I am afraid about compatibility.

My main concern is that I need to run an application that was written using Visual Basic back in the year 2000. Would it be more likely that this would run on 32 bit than 64 bit?Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Paul.
